The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, LOS TRES PIERNAS's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitry Yakubovsky came free, but Ramon Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Vasily Stahanovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes LOS TRES PIERNAS got a freekick which was hit by Armando Gilen. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Per-Olof Kihlberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, FORTALEZA's Per-Olof Kihlberg got control of the ball when Maximiliano Lico tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Per-Olof Kihlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Lico. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Gaizko in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Olof Kihlberg saved FORTALEZA from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, LOS TRES PIERNAS's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitry Yakubovsky came free, but Ramon Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Vasily Stahanovich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Santikurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elpidio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LOS TRES PIERNAS booed when FORTALEZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staneslav Kotov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Gaizko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Olof Kihlberg was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. LOS TRES PIERNAS's Ramon Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasily Stahanovich in the 77th minute of play. Per-Olof Kihlberg came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS TRES PIERNAS's Santos Santikurtz. But to his dismay, Santos Santikurtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 82nd minute, Elpidio Gaizko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Olof Kihlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 86th of the match, Dmitry Yakubovsky tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ramon Mannie got in the way and made a wonderful save. 88 minutes into the match, FORTALEZA's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Lico came free, but Per-Olof Kihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Olof Kihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Olof Kihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Lico in the 92nd minute of the match. FORTALEZA's Dmitry Yakubovsky got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
