Alemannia Aachen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederik Stecher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pekko Badla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Octavian Chivu fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Octavian Chivu a yellow card for diving instead. Octavian Chivu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Corneliu Vulpăşin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frederik Stecher. One of Unicorns ™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alemannia Aachen:s goal. When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, Alemannia Aachen's Frederik Stecher got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alemannia Aachen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Unicorns ™.
