The throw-in from Koray Karan in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Daustad's Are Rygg. Yenal Tanır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jo Øverås made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Espírito Santo came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Gazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Luis Bonet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Gazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Yenal Tanır kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jo Øverås. That made the score 1-2 in the 24 minute of play. Jo Øverås made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Alex Acatincăi sent off a good shot on target. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Gazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luis Bonet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Gazza was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Bonet made a kick off. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 53rd minute of play. Armando Gazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 54th minute of the match. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Messias in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza got control of the ball when Luis Bonet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jo Øverås stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Messias's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Osvaldinho Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Armando Gazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
