Tudor Bodea started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Peng Song Ting came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Bonet in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Vulpăşin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petrică Ţirpescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jo Øverås tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Papadima, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Mats Bentsen put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Daustad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Unicorns ™:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jo Øverås, was totally fooled by Unicorns ™'s Aurel Huștiu, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 22nd minute, Peng Song Ting made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 25th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Luis Bonet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After having played for 33 minutes, Tudor Bodea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unicorns ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Bodea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Daustad's Luis Bonet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneliu Vulpăşin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peng Song Ting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Bonet to strike the kick off in the second half. Peng Song Ting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. If Luis Bonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Unicorns ™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dráuzio Lima took the corner. Luis Bonet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Corneliu Vulpăşin made a huge save. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Luis Bonet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. Unicorns ™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Luis Bonet scored to the left of an out of position Corneliu Vulpăşin, making the score, 1-5. 72 minutes into the game, Daustad's Luis Bonet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. The audience was convinced that Luis Bonet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corneliu Vulpăşin was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 75 minutes in the game, Luis Bonet dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Luis Bonet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Daustad's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 87 minutes into the game, Iacob Surdu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Daustad's Pelle Anundsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 94 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daustad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
