After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Aurel Huștiu got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yenal Tanır in the 21st minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Rareș Papadima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus PTM the free kick. Rareș Papadima hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Raimundo Espírito Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's Raimundo Espírito Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneliu Vulpăşin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 34th minute of the match. The Juventus PTM fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Juventus PTM's Raimundo Espírito Santo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Aurel Huștiu with Petrică Ţirpescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Raimundo Espírito Santo sped through Unicorns ™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. If Raimundo Espírito Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Espírito Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Corneliu Vulpăşin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gualter Távora missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 57 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Corneliu Vulpăşin right hand side. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicu Ilieș got free with Corneliu Vulpăşin in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juventus PTM's Petre Mitică was substituted for Vidar Albäck. Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu was substituted for Raimundo Espírito Santo. Iacob Surdu made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rareș Papadima immediately put the ball in play. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Unicorns ™ from getting a goal against them. Iacob Surdu made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Juventus PTM's Nicu Ilieș. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferdinand Honcioiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corneliu Vulpăşin. That made the score 0-6 in the 76 minute of play. In the 86th minute, Juventus PTM's Yenal Tanır dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Yenal Tanır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Honcioiu came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Honcioiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Honcioiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Juventus PTM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Unicorns ™.
