Feyenoord Malinovo's Andreas den Ronden quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Doru Maniu, made in the 21st minute of the game. Victor Ologu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Feyenoord Malinovo's Eugen Zoch. But to his dismay, Eugen Zoch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Victor Ologu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Zoch's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Eugen Zoch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Ologu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The corner led to Feyenoord Malinovo's Dávid Mojžiš getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Pompiliu Andrițoiu made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Eugen Zoch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugen Zoch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Ologu. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Feyenoord Malinovo's Rastislav Duch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 62nd minute of play.
