Benno Betancor hit a great ball. Angelillo Di Maria took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Văduvescu. Marian Văduvescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marian Văduvescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Vides's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the FC NORDLAND defense, Zygmunt Dunajski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Frisck. The FC NORDLAND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Frisck should have stopped the shot. Zygmunt Dunajski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joar Frisck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Barbu came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner. Nistor Costandache went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Nistor Costandache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joar Frisck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhys Hughes in the 29th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Nistor Costandache got a free kick in the 35th minute. Alan Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Stere to maneuver through the defense. Joar Frisck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Dunajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelillo Di Maria was the one to do the kick off. FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Angelillo Di Maria managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC NORDLAND's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelillo Di Maria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Văduvescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joar Frisck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Dunajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Filip Paulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Paulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Frisck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelillo Di Maria in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Văduvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79thth minute of the game Zygmunt Dunajski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joar Frisck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Barbu's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Nicolae Barbu sped through FC NORDLAND's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joar Frisck. When FC NORDLAND's Birger Benett in 85 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marian Văduvescu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Birger Benett sped through FC Steaua Pildesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marian Văduvescu. After having played for 90 minutes, Lucian Stere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Stere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Frisck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Barbu's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Steaua Pildesti eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
