Yenal Tanır hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th match minute, Juventus PTM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentin Clarisse to maneuver through the defense. When Juventus PTM's Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Steaua Pildesti's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Terry Doyle hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 20th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Barbu came free, but Armando Gazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Constantin Deșliu in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventus PTM's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes in the game Cristian Fința did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nicolae Barbu. Marian Văduvescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yenal Tanır's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 32nd minute of play. Raimundo Espírito Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marian Văduvescu having to make a save. In the 35th minute Robert Antohi collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 35 minutes into the game, Raimundo Espírito Santo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus PTM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Steaua Pildesti the free kick. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Raimundo Espírito Santo got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Armando Gazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus PTM's Raimundo Espírito Santo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marian Văduvescu. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Espírito Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marian Văduvescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Espírito Santo's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Alex Acatincăi got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Nae Griguță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Văduvescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yenal Tanır in the 60th minute of play. Marian Văduvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 62nd minute of the match. Marian Văduvescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes of play Juventus PTM's Alex Acatincăi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alex Acatincăi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Acatincăi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Văduvescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Honcioiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldinho Messias made a great header on Juventus PTM's corner, it was just that FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 79th minute, Yenal Tanır made a precise shot to the right of Marian Văduvescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Marian Văduvescu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Honcioiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Ferdinand Honcioiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Văduvescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yenal Tanır in the 86th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Juventus PTM's Yenal Tanır made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Văduvescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petre Mitică lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Constantin Deșliu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Constantin Deșliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zygmunt Dunajski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Juventus PTM had played much better football throughout.
