The audience was convinced that Guo Ke Peng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Halil Utku Evvah was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Rickard Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiff Rambo got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Henning Strömqvist. In the 44th minute, Ove Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lv Lei was the one to do the kick off. Meriç Baytekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Brendan Leblanc made a huge save. Lv Lei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute, Rickard Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halil Utku Evvah was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 78th minute Désiré Kaká shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Bo Kruuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halil Utku Evvah. KOO Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo Kruuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ozan Candar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Bo Kruuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halil Utku Evvah. KOO Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo Kruuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kingpins fully deserved thier win.
