Julio Vera had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Marius Macovei's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 9 minutes into the game, MasterBets's Marius Macovei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. MasterBets's Gong Zhi Peng was substituted for Marius Macovei. 15 minutes into the match, MasterBets's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gigel Zăvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Zăvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. Gigel Zăvoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gigel Zăvoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Zăvoiu was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When MasterBets's Gong Zhi Peng in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vedat Tuğlu replaced Ramiro Marin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedat Tuğlu in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Gong Zhi Peng got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Gigel Zăvoiu however easily saved by the left post. After 62 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Tony Röd scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigel Zăvoiu having to make a save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after MasterBets's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 74 minutes into the match, MasterBets's Gong Zhi Peng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gigel Zăvoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Zhi Peng came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Gong Zhi Peng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gigel Zăvoiu came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2.
