In the 4th minute, YerBaTerOs's Ruben Iglesias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruben Iglesias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 14th minute YerBaTerOs were awarded a corner. Ascencio Puente went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruben Iglesias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 17th playminute. Ruben Iglesias took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 27th minute, Ruben Iglesias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ruben Iglesias took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Ruben Iglesias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 8-0 in the 39th playminute. In the 43rd minute, Ruben Iglesias made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Montalvo Huidobro, made in the 46th minute of the game.

YerBaTerOs made a substitution. Andres Anguciana replaced Intriago Viles. YerBaTerOs made a substitution. Lucio Bruna replaced Héctor Gordon. YerBaTerOs's Zoil Soltero was substituted for Ruben Iglesias. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Zoil Soltero managed to get in a good position for a shot. YerBaTerOs's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoil Soltero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentino Ferrant hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Anguciana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Fondos struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YerBaTerOs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Bruna in the 63rd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Andres Anguciana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When Zoil Soltero came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the YerBaTerOs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoil Soltero couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Marco Tamayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the YerBaTerOs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. In the 71st minute Andres Anguciana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Anguciana, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes of play, YerBaTerOs's Loco Fondos made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of YerBaTerOs booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Loco Fondos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Anguciana in the 86th minute of play. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Anguciana in the 89th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Maximiliano Plata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YerBaTerOs and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Marco Tamayo hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. 98 minutes into the game, Lucio Bruna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
