Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Blåvitt's Gil Talavera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Blåvitt's Andy Robertsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jarl Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, FC Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Bâlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Gil Talavera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Gil Talavera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Blåvitt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarl Bredberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herbert Tamminga kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Bredberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jarl Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Gil Talavera tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th match minute, FC Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Smitt to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Talavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Bâlea in the 66th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Bredberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jarl Bredberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Talavera in the 78th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Talavera in the 80th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Kielstedt during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Viktor Kielstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jarl Bredberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
