Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gil Talavera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, FC Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jarl Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarl Bredberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Andy Robertsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Talavera in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Gil Talavera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jarl Bredberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Bâlea in the 59th minute of the match. If Emilian Bâlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Blåvitt's Jarl Bredberg got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Blåvitt getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Folke Smitt hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jarl Bredberg made a huge save. Jarl Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Talavera came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 76thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Blåvitt's keeper Jarl Bredberg was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 77 minutes FC Blåvitt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Bâlea came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match FC Blåvitt got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gil Talavera ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gil Talavera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. FC Blåvitt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gil Talavera in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Talavera in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jarl Bredberg made a huge save. After 97 minutes, Gil Talavera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Blåvitt and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gil Talavera hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
