Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Armand Mondon in the 10th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perthes United's Armand Mondon got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Perthes United's Hercule Basque. But to his dismay, Hercule Basque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Perthes United's Armand Mondon got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Armand Mondon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perthes United's supporters rose to their feet, but Armand Mondon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Perthes United's Loïc Curt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the match, Armand Mondon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 3-0. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armand Mondon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armand Mondon in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Perthes United were awarded a corner. Patrice Lambolez went to the cornerflag to take it. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armand Mondon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A collision led to Perthes United getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fernand Pierrel hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Paraguay got a corner. Perthes United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Pardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Paraguay's Jaime Pardo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jean-Marie Sanquer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marie Sanquer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armand Mondon was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Perthes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernand Pierrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Raul Venegas hit a great ball. Patrice Lambolez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Perthes United's Loïc Curt. But to his dismay, Loïc Curt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Loïc Curt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Primitivo Escribano from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Jean-Marie Sanquer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armand Mondon's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When Primitivo Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Primitivo Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Perthes United booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perthes United's Loïc Curt got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. If Loïc Curt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Marie Sanquer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 77th minute. After 80 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. The audience cheered when Patrice Lambolez's long shot passed Jacobo Nores's right side. It was 7-0, 81 minutes into the match. Armand Mondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hercule Basque took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Perthes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernand Pierrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perthes United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paraguay for a fine match.
