Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viktor Hybbert took the kick off in the first half of the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ove Håning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ove Håning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ove Håning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Håning. Överås IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ove Håning narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ove Håning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Mariano got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Illescas. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Håning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play forced Överås IK's goalkeeper Ove Håning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ove Håning skillfully saved the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Ove Håning managed to make a qualified save. Överås IK's players were relieved. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ove Håning made a huge save. A collision led to Överås IK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Elliott Ahlgren hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Ingmar Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ove Håning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ove Håning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Håning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Elliott Ahlgren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ove Håning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Håning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Ove Håning when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Hybbert in the 93rd minute of play. Venezuela played a much better game than Överås IK and deserved their victory. The Överås IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
