After a defensive mix-up in Faro querandi's zone, Inocencio Tarresola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Gabon came out of the goal and Inocencio Tarresola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nahuel Molina fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faro querandi's protests and gave Nahuel Molina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16thth minute of the game Sánchez Castruita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faro querandi's Roque Gabon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Gabon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Tarresola's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Łukasz Fabiański took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Faro querandi were awarded a corner. Serafin Eufemio went to the cornerflag to take it. Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Calvet in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Sánchez Castruita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sánchez Castruita, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 33 played minutes Faro querandi got a freekick which was hit by Nahuel Molina. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Polad Bastia during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Polad Bastia hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Tarresola in the 55th minute of play forced Faro querandi's goalkeeper Roque Gabon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Azulgranas fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Azulgranas's Sánchez Castruita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Azulgranas made a substitution. Francisco Berrios replaced Marco Zust. Azulgranas's Victoriano Movilla was substituted for Sánchez Castruita. Silverio Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Silverio Calvet hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Faro querandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polad Bastia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Azulgranas booed when Faro querandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nahuel Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
