The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Igon got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Igon in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 38 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per Målare who took care of the corner kick. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Igon. Per Målare took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Froilan Atauri made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Quilino Gomar immediately put the ball in play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quilino Gomar in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Electric Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Per Målare went to the cornerflag to take it. Apolo Heriberto made a great header on Electric Futbol Club's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Silvestre Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Igon in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Igon in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 5-1 became the score in the 83rd minute when Emiliano Igon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Emiliano Igon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Emiliano Igon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Igon in the 89th minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Emiliano Igon sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Electric Futbol Club fully deserved thier win.
