Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Yip was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Gorri got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes, Arsenio Paez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MirkoNicolas FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a MirkoNicolas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Malvin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Gorri came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Precioso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Malvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, MirkoNicolas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Gorri to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Malvin to make the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Samuel Gorri, made in the 55th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Paulo Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot. MirkoNicolas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Precioso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when MirkoNicolas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the game Samuel Gorri made a throw-in which Paulo Precioso played forward. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Samuel Gorri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MirkoNicolas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Samuel Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MirkoNicolas FC's Samuel Gorri got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Samuel Gorri off the ground. A collision led to MirkoNicolas FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Samuel Gorri hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Aureliano Malvin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MirkoNicolas FC had played much better football throughout.
