Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Daniel Linberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Henry Andersson. After 22 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per Larsson who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Sandell hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Roger Pilgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Daniel Linberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Linberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Per Larsson managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos FC's Ralf Uggstedt got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fredric Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Los Galacticos FC's Roger Pilgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Daniel Linberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Daniel Linberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Galacticos FC's Conny Falck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Los Galacticos FC from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Linberg in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Linberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los Galacticos FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conny Falck made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes Los Galacticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Uggstedt. 81 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Galacticos FC the free kick. The supporters of Los Galacticos FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Per Larsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After 83rd play minutes Daniel Linberg shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Daniel Linberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Daniel Linberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Los Galacticos FC were the better team. Los Galacticos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
