Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant to catch but Victor Bazkoare was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After taking down the ball on Rivermania FC's corner Victor Bazkoare fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After 18 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jacobo Santxol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 23 minutes, Erasmo Lorencio made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Santxol got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 38th match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jacobo Santxol sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Erasmo Lorencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After 55 minutes of play, Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, Abuy Husodo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Rivermania FC's Teodoro Foro was substituted for Amado Cuartio. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes, Rosendo Flor made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo Flor in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 84thth minute of the game Rosendo Flor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abuy Husodo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rosendo Flor took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Rivermania FC were the better team. Rivermania FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
