Venezuela's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Pete Kitching put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play forced FK BLAZER's goalkeeper 马益银 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pete Kitching got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a FK BLAZER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 马益银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FK BLAZER's Tim Byfield got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, FK BLAZER's Ola Wallengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 31 minutes of play, FK BLAZER's Pete Kitching made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, FK BLAZER's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but 马益银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Pete Kitching managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK BLAZER's supporters rose to their feet, but Pete Kitching was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. 马益银 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 马益银 was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Kitching in the 46th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Garth Kennedy who took care of the corner kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pete Kitching was the one to do the kick off. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Kitching in the 54th minute of play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, FK BLAZER's goalkeeper 马益银 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Kitching in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Pete Kitching made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Pete Kitching elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 马益银 having to interfere. Tim Byfield hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FK BLAZER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Byfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, 马益银 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Pete Kitching sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. With a little luck, FK BLAZER's 马益银 got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Wallengren came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 马益银 saved FK BLAZER from getting behind.
