After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Best Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Flamengo FSCMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aquiles Leonidas hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Benjamin da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 66 played minutes Barbieri Sports got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Sokolski. Silas Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Breno Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Best Gol in the 92nd minute. Benjamin da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barbieri Sports fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flamengo FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
