Onur-Recep Kıvrak came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Onur-Recep Kıvrak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 13 minutes of play, Peru's Eliseo Mina made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Onur-Recep Kıvrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedykt Lanczak in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of the match. After the first half Peru were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Lanczak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Benedykt Lanczak made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Behzat Tanyeli's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behzat Tanyeli helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Peru booed when Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behzat Tanyeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Anastasio Jurdan was substituted for Ediz Tanbolat. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Deng Jie Wei replaced Benedykt Lanczak. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ferdi Eriş. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Onur-Recep Kıvrak having to make a save. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Jie Wei in the 94th minute of play. Antonio Tenorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Deng Jie Wei made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ throughout the match.
