Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Matlock in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barbaros Bozbora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Barbaros Bozbora guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Stamate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yu Xun Yi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 65th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Xun Yi in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Xun Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Xun Yi in the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
