Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maciej Mielcarz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Mielcarz having to interfere. Maciej Mielcarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Roger Blom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Głodne Ghule and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Maciej Mielcarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Czechs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benjamim de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Czech. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's Marek Czech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan Koller who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jan Koller got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maciej Mielcarz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Marek Czech cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Maciej Mielcarz made a huge save. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Marek Czech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Marek Czech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
