Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Canalla Fuego's Jonatan Benvide to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aimar in the 35th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky Kalischer kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Aimar in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Clemente Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Canalla Fuego's Nicolae Honcioiu was substituted for Diguinho Paraíba. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Aimar to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruno Beldad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Clemente Benvido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Aimar scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Aimar went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Clemente Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 68th minute of the match. When Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Faustino Egoi in the 91 minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Carlos Aimar made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
