Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Arnulfo Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ФК ОВЕЧ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Pencho Beshovishki managed to get in a good position for a shot. ФК ОВЕЧ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pencho Beshovishki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metodi Sheyretov couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolay Momchilov came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 91st minute of the match Tomas Illescas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Nikolay Momchilov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ФК ОВЕЧ fully deserved thier win.
