Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wei Guang Xing got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Afonso Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Afonso Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wei Guang Xing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres van der Sar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced MONTANHA's goalkeeper Andres van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. MONTANHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 24th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei Montenegro during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to MONTANHA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dinei Montenegro hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Andres van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after MONTANHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres van der Sar quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres van der Sar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Murillo Martins got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Andres van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. Andres van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wei Guang Xing kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MONTANHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Felix Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MONTANHA's Wei Guang Xing got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
