The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Quan Di in the 38th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Luganeros AFC's Ruslan Rúklyov threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yu Quan Di, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 42nd match minute, VN BAKITO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denimir Tzonkov to maneuver through the defense. Denimir Tzonkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Luganeros AFC's Amancio Claris was substituted for Yu Quan Di. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denimir Tzonkov to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Amancio Claris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sevdalin Evtimov made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rusi Plochev however managed to control. 66 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerasim Berberov. Gerasim Berberov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gabriel Porfiro made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruslan Rúklyov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gabriel Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blagoy Banovski in the 75th minute. A collision led to VN BAKITO getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Flavinho Pires hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Luis Vázquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Eliseo Bittor got a free kick in the 78th minute. Gerasim Berberov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Gabriel Porfiro made a huge save. Gabriel Porfiro was a little too slow when Denimir Tzonkov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-1. Luis Vázquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruslan Rúklyov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vázquez came free, but Ruslan Rúklyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when VN BAKITO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sevdalin Evtimov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
