The audience was convinced that Naldo Cerezo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Donato Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Patagonicos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Naldo Cerezo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Sendoa in the 29th minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Patagonicos FC were awarded a corner. Diego Idacio went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Arantes in the 34th minute of play forced Patagonicos FC's goalkeeper Marian Cazacu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Patagonicos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Marian Cazacu was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Alex Arantes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Arantes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Bezerros EC's Kléber Paiva got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naldo Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Cazacu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Claudinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bezerros EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Cazacu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Iaki during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Patagonicos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Candido Iaki hit a great ball. Patagonicos FC made a substitution. Ramon Quirce replaced Candido Iaki. In the 84th match minute, Patagonicos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omiros Nomikos to maneuver through the defense. Naldo Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Naldo Cerezo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Luiz Fernando Peixoto to make any attempt to save it. Patagonicos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
