Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Luca Rouco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Terra in the 69th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Verdun having to make a save. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edmond Verdun could save by the left post. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Isidro Gines replaced Emílio Terra. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Tate in the 80th minute of the match. Errecaborda AFC's Hipolito Neron was substituted for Miguel Savion. The Errecaborda AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
