In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th play minute Anfilogino Morelli came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Camilo Freixa. 1-0. Donato Corelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Eraldo Verdini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muppet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Verdini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Mazzone hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Ismael Tejedor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muppet FC the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. Donato Corelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisco Gallo's late challenge caught a Muppet FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Gallo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Muppet FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes in the game Donato Mazzone got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Alejandro Villa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Eraldo Verdini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa. Eraldo Verdini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 37th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Coccolone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Pello Clemente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Corelli scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felice Coccolone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Fernandino in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Coccolone having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Muppet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pello Clemente to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Eraldo Verdini made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 66th minute, Donato Corelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Verdini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Eraldo Verdini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Eraldo Verdini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo.
