The throw-in from Ian Kellman in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Honkens Bengaler BK's William Vennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. Fred Stigsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. William Vennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. William Vennersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Vennersten having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Peru's Milagros Fraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Vennersten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Honkens Bengaler BK's William Vennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Vennersten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ian Kellman, made in the 38th minute of the game. With 42 minutes on the clock, Anthony Alvarado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Peru:s Rolando Noboa showed great skill when he stopped Karl-Oskar Carlsson:s penalty.

Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Stigsson in the 51st minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ian Kellman, made in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Jon Hökqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Moises Gayoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Gayoso took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Vennersten. William Vennersten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. William Vennersten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Vennersten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Honkens Bengaler BK's Wladyslaw Ewertowski was substituted for Jacek Ziemniak. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 85 minutes, Karl-Oskar Carlsson made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ian Kellman in the 89 minute of the game. Ian Kellman made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Witkowski in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Eliseo Alcocer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
