Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kaká Ferreira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romarinho Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaká Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Atlético de Crisal's Romarinho Silva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Cido Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of the match. Haroldo Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Atlético de Crisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cido Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo de Lima hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle didn't even have to move. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Kaká Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Cido Valle made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Crisal's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Valle came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético de Crisal's Henrique dos Santos was substituted for Alessandro Goiano. Atlético de Crisal made a substitution. Adelino Miranda replaced Kaká Ferreira. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 3-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Adelino Miranda elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cido Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Adelino Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Romarinho Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's Donato Hoffmann got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Atlético de Crisal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
