Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adan Otsoko got the match started through his kick off. Adan Otsoko did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 3 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adan Otsoko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cristo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Adan Otsoko took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Adan Otsoko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Chano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Cristo Colas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristo Colas firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Almeyra F.C. from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cristo Colas made a huge save. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro suffered a concussion in the 70th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Victorio Sabino's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Sabino helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Felix Montenegro. A collision led to Almeyra F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Victorio Sabino hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Danilo Remir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Danilo Remir hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Almeyra F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
