Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paranhos Ariranha FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Gilesindo came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 10th minute of the match. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaspar Gilesindo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Pieter-Maarten Specht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Paranhos Ariranha FC got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Duarte. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paranhos Ariranha FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Francisco Fontes took the corner. Gaspar Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest.

Paranhos Ariranha FC's Honorato Afonso was substituted for Guillermo Baleren. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 54th minute of play. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Abel Maia made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Julian Murillo had several of the Paranhos Ariranha FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Gaspar Gilesindo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Maia in the 65 minute of the game. Gaspar Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Cristóvão Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Mattos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Mattos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Gaspar Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 93rd minute of play forced Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Peru's Antonio Tenorio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Peru played a much better game than Paranhos Ariranha FC and deserved their victory. The Paranhos Ariranha FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
