Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sérgio Vargas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolas Kafkalas got free with Dante Lacasa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play. Julien Luarasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikolas Kafkalas in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Julien Luarasi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Julien Luarasi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 47 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC GURZUN the free kick. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. If Nikolas Kafkalas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Dumitru Neguțu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hurmuzache in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sérgio Vargas, 1-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julien Luarasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute.
