With his leg Faustão Hermes managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Renegados's Rafa Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 45 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Fernandez came free, but Faustão Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Renegados players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter Gala were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafa Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delfim Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Figueiredo in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match, Víktor Passos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delfim Soares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ademar Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Delfim Soares made a huge save. Delfim Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Ferraz in the 55th minute. Basílio Ferraz in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delfim Soares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ricardinho de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Alvarenga in the 73rd minute of the match. Faustão Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafa Donato's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Renegados:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inter Gala:s goal. Faustão Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Donato in the 82nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Gala's Ademar Figueiredo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delfim Soares. That made the score 0-9 after 83 minutes of play. Almir Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Delfim Soares made a huge save. After some careless play in the Renegados defense, Basílio Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Soares. The Renegados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Soares should have stopped the shot. The Renegados fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter Gala were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
