Mato Podlogar hit a great ball. Bine Šercelj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Aurken in the 10th minute of the match. When Yala's Feliberto Joey in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Koper's goalie prevented a goal. After 15 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Formerio. Valentin Eguntsenti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Saje in the 17th minute. Bine Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Jurčić's late challenge caught a Yala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Jurčić helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Robert Jurčić. Cristobal Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bine Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luka Saje's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Eguntsenti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Saje got free with Valentin Eguntsenti in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Luka Saje took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Valentin Eguntsenti to make any attempt to save it. Feliberto Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. Forti Draksler lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 34 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Forti Draksler. Yala's Herminio Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Abelardo Obano fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yala's protests and gave Abelardo Obano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yala's Abelardo Obano got a free kick in the 41st minute. Valentin Eguntsenti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marino Gregorič in the 42nd minute. Luka Saje struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Valentin Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Koper. The supporters of Yala booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Saje didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Koper's Claudio Brkić was substituted for Luka Saje. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bine Šercelj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Aurken in the 79th minute of the match. When Cristobal Aurken came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Aurken couldn't finish the play. Robert Jurčić kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Yala's Feliberto Joey got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Feliberto Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Cristobal Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bine Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, FC Koper's Claudio Brkić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Eguntsenti narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
