In the 17thth minute of the game Eurico Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GUSESI's Celso Oto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Marquez. Cristiano Romário sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the GUSESI defense, Cristiano Romário kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Oto. The GUSESI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Oto should have stopped the shot. Alfredinho Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Ostargi in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Placido Refugio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GUSESI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JURIDIQUES F.C the free kick. After 32 minutes, Anibal Arotza made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. JURIDIQUES F.C's Alfredinho Cordeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eurico Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, GUSESI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Anibal Arotza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alfredinho Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Nascimento made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Isaias Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Eurico Nascimento put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Oto. In the 55th minute Anibal Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Toto Schillaci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GUSESI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. GUSESI's Placido Refugio got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. Celso Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Romário, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of JURIDIQUES F.C booed when GUSESI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Ekhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as JURIDIQUES F.C's Eurico Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celso Oto. That made the score 3-3 after 78 minutes of play. Celso Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. GUSESI's Celso Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save GUSESI from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded JURIDIQUES F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GUSESI.
