The audience was convinced that Adilson Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olívio Abraão was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Zuera Never End MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Prestes in the 4th minute. A nice corner shot did that Oscar Prestes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olívio Abraão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Queiroz during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Armandinho Queiroz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Armandinho Queiroz got a free kick in the 7th minute. Olívio Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adilson Souza's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Inter Gala's Olívio Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Palmeira in the 13th minute of play. William Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Inter Gala's Basílio Ferraz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santo Everton. Santo Everton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Oscar Prestes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olívio Abraão. Inter Gala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 26 minutes, Víktor Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Gala and the Zuera Never End MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Víktor Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armandinho Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Adilson Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olívio Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Prestes's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Oscar Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Olívio Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Olívio Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Olívio Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adilson Souza's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Olívio Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Souza in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Armandinho Queiroz hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Inter Gala defense, Adilson Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Abraão. The Inter Gala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Abraão should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Renato Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Cherif Gomez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adilson Souzas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Olívio Abraão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Olívio Abraão made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Adilson Souza sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter Gala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oscar Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time Zuera Never End MZC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Zuera Never End MZC's corner Oscar Prestes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olívio Abraão quite easily take care of the ball. Adilson Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Armandinho Queiroz hit a great ball. The long shot by Oscar Prestes in the 87th minute really tested Olívio Abraão's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Olívio Abraão made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Adilson Souza sent off a good shot on target. During the 92nd minute of the match Armandinho Queiroz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Armandinho Queiroz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Armandinho Queiroz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Zuera Never End MZC's Oscar Prestes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Olívio Abraão but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Inter Gala's Olívio Abraão got control of the ball when Adilson Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line.
