Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adilson Souza got the match started through his kick off. Zuera Never End MZC's Oscar Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DEPORTIVO SJ's Ruben Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Prestes in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, DEPORTIVO SJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Gil to maneuver through the defense. Décio Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Zuera Never End MZC's Oscar Prestes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ruben Tauro but with some difficulty. Ruben Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Souza in the 14th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Victor Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oscar Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda Arce hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Décio Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuera Never End MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DEPORTIVO SJ the free kick. After 33 played minutes Zuera Never End MZC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Miranda. In the 35th minute Carolo Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Everton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When DEPORTIVO SJ's Carolo Gil in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zuera Never End MZC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Oscar Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuera Never End MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Tauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Everton came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by DEPORTIVO SJ's Carolo Gil. But to his dismay, Carolo Gil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half DEPORTIVO SJ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute Válter Figueiredo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Fabio Ramone charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Ramone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zuera Never End MZC's Raí Recife was substituted for Válter Figueiredo. After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO SJ's Fabio Ramone got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Oscar Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes DEPORTIVO SJ got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Gotzon. Carolo Gil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Santo Everton made a huge save. Manuel Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. DEPORTIVO SJ's Ruben Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Recife in the 76th minute of play. DEPORTIVO SJ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
