Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Van Leemputte, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Lennert Van Den Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portus Ganda's Pierre Van Leemputte got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Pierre Van Leemputte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bine Šercelj. Pierre Van Leemputte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 94th minute, Pierre Van Leemputte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bine Šercelj, passed just outside the right post. Portus Ganda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
