After 9 minutes of play, Soflov FC's Esteve Cutberto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Robin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nils Robin made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Esteve Cutberto sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Soflov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennert Van Den Bosch came free, but Gerardo Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Jaunzuria's late challenge caught a Portus Ganda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Cutberto charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Cutberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Soflov FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Esteve Cutberto hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennert Van Den Bosch in the 44th minute of play forced Soflov FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 53rd minute, Roger Hoolemans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Clis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Jaunzuria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Soflov FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
