Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson de Amaral to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson de Amaral got free with Delfim Soares in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguayana SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Jailson de Amaral scored to the left of an out of position Delfim Soares, making the score, 0-5. Fabrício Castro's late challenge caught a Zuera Never End MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
