He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DEPORTIVO SJ reached it. 16 minutes into the match, Soflov FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Gil. After having played for 28 minutes, Baldomero Jaunzuria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soflov FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Jaunzuria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carolo Gil hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Esteve Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ruben Tauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Cirilo Atauri in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soflov FC's Nicanor Manex. Gerardo Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Gotzon in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Mauricio Primeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soflov FC and the DEPORTIVO SJ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Soflov FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mauricio Primeiro hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Carolo Gil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerardo Clis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gerardo Clis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Orkatz in the 43rd minute. In the 46th match minute, DEPORTIVO SJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Gerardo Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
