Leon Juszkowski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hjalmar Kråk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miromir Skwira. That made the score 2-1 in the 23 minute of play. Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Furlit in the 33rd minute of play. Rune Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Furlit, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Andrzejewski in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Grep prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rune Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Furlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Wit Jerzyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Miromir Skwira made a huge save.

With an all-out effort, FC Latające Siekiery's Rune Grep threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliusz Grucza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Latające Siekiery's Radowit Kaczor was substituted for Arkadiusz Kolbert. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Andrzejewski got free with Rune Grep in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, FC Latające Siekiery's Waldemar Andrzejewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Grep narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lirarnas Lag defense, Zula Furlit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Grep. The Lirarnas Lag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Grep should have stopped the shot.
