The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Yala's Octavio Ferrer got control of the ball when Norberto Indalecio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th minute Norberto Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Indalecio in the 12th minute of play. Norberto Indalecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Octavio Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Caradaro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Kevin Ööpik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kutsikad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Ööpik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olen Äss in the 20th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Octavio Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Kevin Ööpik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Ferrer was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Octave Questel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Octavio Ferrer, 2-0. In the 40th minute Norberto Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octave Questel got free with Octavio Ferrer in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kutsikad's Reino Kaldvee was substituted for Henri Väärsi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Sustrai made a kick off. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hipolito Froila hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Kutsikad's Kevin Ööpik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Ferrer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Octavio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğuş Baykara in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Yala booed when Kutsikad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yala's Orlando Sustrai got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yala's Octavio Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Indalecio in the 70th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Froila. Octavio Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Ööpik in the 74th minute of play. Camilo Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, one of Kutsikad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kutsikad. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Yala's Gwendal Puig got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Daniel Buffon. Octavio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Indalecio in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Kutsikad booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Oinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Preetamjot Aşuräliyev in the 91st minute of play. Orlando Sustrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Daniel Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yala players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kutsikad.
