The tension between the YELLOW FC and the S.C.PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when YELLOW FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evripidis Zoubadellis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avraam Sevastopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes S.C.PAULISTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paul Grosso who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Jan-Olof Kämpe advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 54th minute. Gerrit Cronen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 58th minute of the match. Vaggelis Lalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the YELLOW FC defense, César Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. The YELLOW FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vaggelis Lalas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonidas Orange in the 88th minute of play forced YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerrit Cronen was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Avraam Sevastopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Avraam Sevastopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanasis Robos got free with Gerrit Cronen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The S.C.PAULISTA fans cheered their team off the field, for while YELLOW FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
