Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Lain in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Damaso Lain came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cityzens Mdz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Lain couldn't finish the play. Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavao Zadro in the 40th minute of play. Nestor Cortez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Lain in the 41st minute. Melkior Thorslev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 44th minute of play. Saul Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Perico was the one to do the kick off. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Damaso Lain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Cortez having to make a save. In the 61st minute Damaso Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cityzens Mdz's Damaso Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Damaso Lain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Cortez. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Lain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cityzens Mdz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Saul Montrel scored to the left of an out of position Melkior Thorslev, making the score, 2-1. Cristobal Lia replaced Pavao Zadro. 78 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Lain came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cityzens Mdz booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xu Ran Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Lukasz Marut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cityzens Mdz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukasz Marut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cityzens Mdz's Eloy Urdin was substituted for Alberto Argider. Lobos de Carelia's Horacio Oliverios managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmy Zambata in the 89 minute of the game. Melkior Thorslev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Horacio Oliverios got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cityzens Mdz's Ignacio Pasqual was substituted for Lukasz Marut. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Lain in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes, Ignacio Pasqual mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cityzens Mdz and the Lobos de Carelia players grew even worse after the yellow card.
